King’s College London (University of London) Shanghai Summer School


Program Briefing
King's College London is one of the UK’s most historic and prestigious universities. Founded in 1829, as a member of the Russell Group, King's College London is one of the top 20 universities in the world (2013/14 QS World University rankings). In the year of 2014 King's College London will hold a 4-week Summer School at the Global Education Center of ECNU. King’s College London has held a Summer School in London for several years; it has developed its great reputation and experience. The Shanghai Summer School will surely provide a wonderful experience to all students attending.
King's Summer School is open for all students at home and abroad. The program will run from June 2nd, 2014 to June 27th, 2014, lasting 4 weeks. All faculties in the summer school are from King's College London, offering courses in business, literature, history and philosophy, etc.
Application Eligibility
IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill
TOEFL Paper based test we require a minimum of 583 with minimum 53 in all skills and for TOEFL Internet Based Test we require a minimum of 93 with minimum 20 in all skills. Both tests to have been taken within the last 2 years
Computer based TOEFL, minimum score of 213
English language O-Level/IGCSE/GCSE grade C
International Baccalaureate Standard Level English, grade 4
Cambridge Advanced Certificate grade B
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, grade C
BULATS, minimum score of 65
CEFR, with a minimum score of B2
GEPT, high intermediate level
GRE (verbal score) 300 (please note this is for tests taken before 1 August 2011)
GRE (verbal score) 140 (please note this is for tests taken after 1 August 2011)
iTEP, minimum of Level 5
TEM, minimum score of 70
TOEIC, minimum score of 685 in all skills
CET-4 (China) 493
You may also be accepted onto the programme if you are studying at an English Speaking university. You must upload your most recent transcript as proof of enrolment.
