On the morning of DEC. 4th, 14 students of Business Chinese Program and advanced Intensive Chinese class, from different countries like US, Spain, France, Australia, Japan, Phillipine, paid a visit to the headquarters of Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Limited in China, located in PuDong Lujiazui area.
In the meeting room of ANZ, Jeff Liu, the client relationship manager expressed the warm welcome to all the international students. In his presentation, he not only introduced the development history of ANZ, but also made a detailed analysis on the strategies of doing business in China. His informative report provides the students with rich data and enables all the students to know more about the macroeconomic environment of China. After the report, students asked questions regarding to the proportion of Chinese and foreign staff in the company, as well as the recruitment process in ANZ, etc. Jeff gave a considerate explanation to all the questions patiently and welcomed the students to join ANZ. When the meeting was over, Jeff showed the students around in the office and business hall, all the students were full of praise for the comfortable and dynamic environment in ANZ. At the end of this activity, students invited Jeff to take pictures.
Visiting companies is one of the well-planned and organized activities for Business Chinese Program, which benefits the students in the way of enhancing their first-hand knowledge of Chinese business environment. This time the visit to ANZ has left a deep impression on the students and has already been their mostly talked-of topic.
