The graduation ceremony of the Intensive Chinese and Business Chinese Program was held on Jan. 10th. About 100 students from all over the world attended this last big gathering. During the semester, they made great efforts in Chinese studies, which yield good results. Now, they were joyfully celebrating with their best friends and teachers on graduation.
Mrs. Huang Meixu, director of Global Education Center, gave a speech at the first beginning, expressing her sincere wishes and congratulations, hoping all the alumni could come back to visit time to time.
Upon leaving, all the students felt attached to the university and their teachers as well friends. The representatives of each class thank the help of their lovely teachers, they were so grateful as if "Thanks" is not enough to express.
In the ceremony, the faculty and the head teacher issued certificates and gifts to all the students, congratulating their achievements. They also selected and awarded the “Star of the Students” and the most popular poster in this semester.
At the end of the ceremony, the intermediate class sang a wonderful song with guitar. All of the students were cheered up. And the poetry reading of intermediate- advanced class, reviewed the fruitful experience in ECNU, making everyone reluctant to say goodbye.
