关于2019年中国政府奖学金延长申请的说明
1、 原则上针对应届毕业的中国政府奖学金博士生进行期限延长的申请。
2、申请人需填写《中国政府奖学金生延长奖学金期限申请表》。奖学金申请表上一定要明确需要延长的时间长度（请在“申请延长奖学金期限的原因The reason for extending expiring date of scholarship”一栏中写明）。
3、如果是国别奖，原则上须附上使馆同意函。通过华东师范大学申请获得中国政府奖学金的学生无需提交使馆同意函。
4、申请中国政府奖学金期限延长，需首先办理学籍延长手续，请填写《华东师范大学研究生延期学习年限申请表》。
5、申请中国政府奖学金期限延长，需参加并通过年度评审，方可具备申请资格。
6、请于2019年4月24日前将《中国政府奖学金延长奖学金期限申请表》、《中国政府奖学金年度评审表》和《华东师范大学研究生延期学习年限申请表》一并交至留学生办公室。
7、国家留学基金委将根据学生的情况进行审批，届时留学生办公室将批复结果告知申请人。
注意：博士研究生延期需要通过年度评审，学校中期考核及开题报告等培养要求，但未满足博士学位论文达标条件。延期申请仅限一次，最长不超过一年。
逾期将不再受理。

Instructions for the Chinese Government Scholarship Extension Application 2019
1) The extension of the Chinese Government Scholarship is basically applicable for graduating doctorate students who already hold a Chinese Government Scholarship;
2) Applicants should fill in the "Application Form for Extension of Chinese Government Scholarship《中国政府奖学金延长申请表》".Within the application form, the length of the extension period must be specified and the reason for the extension must be clearly stated in "The reason for Scholarship Extension" column.
3) If the applicant has been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship via a Chinese consulate or embassy in her/his home country, the application for the scholarship extension should be accompanied by a letter of consent from the embassy or consulate. Those who were awarded with a Chinese Government Scholarship directly from East China Normal University do not need to submit a letter of consent from the embassy or consulate.
4) In order to apply for the extension of the Chinese Government Scholarship, the applicant needs to first complete the procedures of extending his/her enrollment in their department/school; Please fill in the form "Study Extension Form for Graduate Students".
5) The application for the Chinese Government Scholarship extension requires the student to complete and be approved during the annual scholarship evaluation process.
6) Before April 24, 2019, please hand in the "Application Form for Extension of Chinese Government Scholarship《中国政府奖学金延长申请表》", the "China Scholarship Council Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status 《中国政府奖学金年度评审表》" and " Study Extension Form for Graduate Students" to the International Student Office.
7）CSC will make the final decision, and International Student Office will inform students the results from CSC.
* If you apply CSC scholarship extension, you have to pass the annual review, the mid assessment of graduate school and your degree thesis proposal have to be approved. You could apply to extend your CSC scholarship once only for less than one year.
Overdue applicants will not be accepted.
