Cultural Experience

In addition to their regular Chinese language studies, the students also had the opportunity to deeply engage in two traditional Chinese cultural activities—Fan Painting and Tai Chi.

Under the guidance of professional teachers, students used brushes to create various patterns and their names on fans. Despite it being their first experience with this type of art, they completed their works with dedication. Afterward, everyone shared and discussed their creations, appreciating the unique charm of traditional Chinese art.

In the Tai Chi class, the students followed the instructor’s guidance, starting with basic stances and breathing techniques, gradually practicing each movement. With repeated practice, they began to grasp the rhythm of Tai Chi and experienced its characteristic balance of “softness within firmness” and “relaxation without losing focus.” After the class, the students shared that this form of exercise not only emphasized the fluidity of movement but also provided a relaxing experience for both the body and mind.

Company Visit

In addition to the Chinese language courses and cultural activities, the program also included a special company visit. The students toured Canature, a publicly listed company specializing in residential water treatment. During the visit, they gained an in-depth understanding of the development of environmental protection technology and the water treatment industry in China, and developed a more direct appreciation for the innovative capabilities and green philosophies of Chinese enterprises.
