Traditional Chinese drama is a cultural treasure of China, among which Peking Opera is known as the "national treasure", which integrates singing, reciting, acting, fighting and dancing. On the afternoon of November 28th, we had the great honor of inviting Yan Qinggu, a famous actor from the Shanghai Peking Opera Theater to bring international students to appreciate the unique charm of the art of Peking Opera.

Yan's lecture was a combination of explanation, performance and interaction, full of passion and appeal. With the frequent interaction between Yan and the audience, students are inspired to pay attention to the traditional Chinese culture. We believe that as a bridge for cross-cultural exchange, the art of Peking Opera will continue to flourish and promote understanding and appreciation between cultures.
