The Lanling Market is the largest flower, bird, fish market in Shanghai today. It is not only a trading place for items such as flowers, birds, fish, cultural playthings and calligraphy and paintings, but also an excellent place to experience the city's down-to-earth atmosphere and enjoy leisure and entertainment.

The students entered the market in groups with different tasks, exploring the unique urban atmosphere of the city and recording the aesthetic of life of the people in Shanghai with their cameras, thus gaining a deeper understanding of the unique urban culture of Shanghai.
