“As Indonesian students at East China Normal University, the three of us hope to showcase the charm of Indonesian culture through this work. From the scenic splendor of the Thousand Islands, the diverse cuisines scattered across the archipelago, to the intangible cultural heritage of Batik craftsmanship—we believe these landscapes, delicacies, and intangible cultural treasures deserve to be known and cherished by friends worldwide. By integrating our academic specializations, we have merged traditional Batik with modern elements to create a series of decorative artworks, while also gaining a deeper understanding of Indonesia's allure from multiple perspectives. Through this creative endeavor, we aim to enable more people to experience the warmth of our nation and the unique beauty of Indonesia.”

“My thesis examines the marketing strategies of MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea in the Japanese market. As Chinese tea beverage brands continue to expand overseas, competition in international markets has become increasingly intense. MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea has rapidly grown in China by positioning itself as the “king of value for money” and has also expanded swiftly into overseas markets, gradually entering the Japanese market. While there has been significant research on overseas expansion and the Southeast Asian market, studies on the acceptance and marketing strategies of MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea, which only recently entered the Japanese market last year, remain limited. MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea's strengths lie in its cost-effectiveness and brand recognition. Its main weaknesses include insufficient store management, cultural differences, and a lack of product development. MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea's entry into Japan has expanded the Japanese ice cream market and also boosted the tourism industry. By examining MIXUE Ice Cream & Tea's current development status and challenges in the Japanese market, my thesis explores how to drive its future growth in Japan and provides corresponding recommendations.”

《Monkeys of Costa Rica:A Tropical Adventure》

“I collaborated with the early childhood department of an international school in Shanghai to complete a giant pop-up book on monkey conservation in Costa Rica. Some might ask, where is Costa Rica? In fact, this country harbors 4.5% of the world's biodiversity, and my research focuses on the Osa Peninsula in southern Costa Rica. Where tropical climate meets beaches and mountains, it is home to four species of capuchin monkeys. However, today, threats like climate change and deforestation have pushed these lovely creatures to the brink of extinction.

I hoped to raise awareness of them in a special way, which led to this project—a blend of artistic work and educational activity. I guided 3- to 5-year-old children in playing "La titi aventura," a board game I designed, and together we drew and created collages depicting animals that share Costa Rica with monkeys. Through this process, the children not only learned about Costa Rica but also developed a deep understanding and concern for monkey conservation through hands-on creation.”

To address the common challenges faced by international students in campus life, such as language barriers, limited information access, cultural shock, and adaptation difficulties, Lu Xianni (Malaysia), Li Zhongjie (Myanmar), Huang Jianqiang (Argentina), Wang Ziyu (Turkey), and Qiu Yongjun (Panama) have jointly established a one-stop bilingual (Chinese-English) activity and life service platform. This platform aims to help international students integrate into campus life more conveniently.
