It is my great honor to get this opportunity to live and study at East China Normal University (ECNU) and today I will write a little about experience at ECNU as a student.

ECNU Profile – An Atom of Education Internationalization

Being a university with the international perspectives, East China Normal University (ECNU) attaches a great importance to the education internationalization of its development and it has established strategic cooperative partnerships with many world-renowned universities, institutions, organizations and academic societies from all over the world. My three years at ECNU has taught a great deal on how to rethink and act upon education policies and systems at national and global level to meet the current development trends and global market. ECNU has a well-structured course pattern with plenty of knowledge, skills, attitude and experiences from national and international perspectives that always inspire us.

Bona fide scholars with enriched package of abilities and understanding on how to take serious initiative measures to reform and implement current and future education programs and systems that will help our

societies and future generations to get proper and relevant education to enhance socio-economic development and transformation. The reason why I applied and get selected three times at ECNU is because I am happy and satisfied to see ECNU is crossing international borders in offering training programs and participate in global academic engagements. This helps scholars and communities to learn and participate in transforming their local and international socio-economic development.

ECNU’s Capacity in Creativity Empowerment, Character Building and Community Engagement

The general environment, surroundings, condition and the atmospheric situation of East China Normal University influence both professors, staffs and students to creatively think and act in respect to the predetermined educational and social desired outcomes. As a Masters and Great-Wall Fellow student at the International Centre for Teacher, ECNU: I could always feel welcomed by every aspect of ECNU pattern of life; from professors, assistants, social workers, students, surrounding local community as well as the school infrastructure that give me or any other person a room to achieve his or her dreams. At ECNU, every individual learns how to become creative in whatever he/she is doing, get reshaped by the environment to reflect the intellectual character required in the place as well as the feeling of been engaged to the school community though it was a bit hard during my early days in campus.

Any individual who struggles to find an international academic community to realize his or her dreams; “should not sleep until she or he achieves the dreams”. This is not my recommendation to the readers  but rather a true written experience that reveals the reality of ECNU’s charm to everyone who wants to transform himself or herself as well as to make his or her local and international community finds the benefit of going to school, that is; not only to get education but rather - to make positive changes to the society.
