ECNU Overseas students Set up Translation Club

To improve the language quality of the University’s English and French websites, the International Students Office of Center for International Education set up a translation club composed of 11 overseas students on April 19.

Director of the Center Huang Meixu presided over the founding meeting of the club and expressed her welcome and thanks to the 11 overseas students for their support. At the same time, she hoped the club members could get more access to the websites to deepen their knowledge of the University as well as to help improve the international influence of ECNU.

The club members are divided into two translation teams according to their language abilities: an English team and a French team. They will be in charge of copy-editing the University’s English and French websites respectively.

According to Huang, all the 11 students have won scholarships from the government and held important positions in ECNU's International Students’ Union.
