The Closing Ceremony of 2024 Experience Diverse China Summer Program was hosted in Science Hall at East China Normal University on August 9th, 2024. Ms. Joy conveyed congratulations on behalf of all the teachers to the students, congratulating everyone on completing the rich program learning and experience, and also hoped that everyone will continue to be envoys promoting cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
Representatives from each class reviewed and summarized what they had seen, heard and felt during these four weeks. With various forms, they shared their experiences around the themes of daily life, scenic spots, food and studying.
The Chinese teachers commented on the students' presentations. They praised everyone for their progress during the program and encouraged everyone to speak Chinese and continue learning after the program is over.
The Chinese teacher awarded the program completion certificates to the students. Congratulations to all for graduating!

The students not only drew their favorite pandas, flowers, and birds, but also learned their Chinese names, giving the names new and beautiful meanings under the premise of the sound.
Students visited numerous historical and modern sites as well as technology companies in Shanghai, immersing themselves in the rich historical and cultural legacy and the vibrant modernity that characterizes the city.

Some students went on a 4-day tour to Beijing, where they took the high-speed railway, climbed the Great Wall, rowed boats and visited many other places of interest.
Alexander Zet, from the UK, said, "My time at ECNU has been wonderful - I went from knowing no Chinese to getting an A- in the elementary class in just 1 month. I have made loads of friends and I will miss Shanghai with all my heart."
