Chinese Teaching：
East China Normal University is entitled as the State Base of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Shanghai Overseas Chinese Education Base and also one of the biggest HSK Test Centers in China.
The Chinese Language Program of East China Normal University has been started since the 1960s. For decades, with the high-quality teaching system and various cultural activities, it has provided a platform for many international students to enjoy the Chinese learning and get a better understanding of Chinese culture.
Study Period
2021 one semester program: March - July, 2021
2021 one year program: March 2021 to January 2022
Program Features
● Distance Teaching: Interaction with the teacher in live stream class, in a dynamic class atmosphere; Teachers track each students' progress and provide timely feedback and guidance;
● Various Teaching Mode: A combination of comprehensive and speaking courses to develop student’s multiple skills. Special newspaper reading and Chinese culture classes for students of higher levels to improve the effectiveness of Chinese learning;
● Flexible Learning: The recorded video can be viewed repeatedly anytime and anywhere;
● Proof of Completion: An electronic transcript will be issued at the end of the program and an electronic completion certificate will be issued for students who successfully complete the program.

Funding Target
● Non-Chinese citizens overseas;
● In good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct
and mental health, good character and learning;
● Interested in engaging in Chinese education, teaching and related work;
● The age is 16-35 years old.
Funding Content
Applicants who meet the admission requirements can participate in the online teaching program of International Chinese
Chinese Language Study(one year): Score of 210 on HSK test(level 3) or above
Chinese Language Study(one semester): Have HSK test score
1. Register and log in for Scholarship application system: http://cis.chinese.cn/account/login
2. Fill in the application form online. As for the scholarship category, please select one semester (study online) or one year (study online). Please also choose the study duration and for the first choice, please select 华东师范大学;
3. Click submit after uploading all the application documents (including passport, photo, study certificate or graduation certificate, HSK/HSKK);
4. Check application information and progress.
