In accordance with the relative requirement of “Measures for Management of Chinese Government Scholarship”, we hereby give the following notice on the scholarship extension application for 2021-2022 academic year.
Application opens to Chinese Government Scholarship Ph.D students only. Those who study hard with good performance but fail to complete the study with special reasons can apply scholarship period extension to the CSC. Applicants should pass the annual scholarship review of this academic year and meet school requirements. The application for extension is limited to one time only with the maximum length of one year.

3. In order to apply for the extension of the Chinese Government Scholarship, the applicant needs to first complete the procedures of extending his/her enrollment in their department/school;
* If the applicant has been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship via a Chinese consulate or embassy in her/his home country, the application for the scholarship extension should be accompanied by a letter of consent from the embassy or consulate. Those who were awarded with a Chinese Government Scholarship directly from East China Normal University do not need to submit a letter of consent from the embassy or consulate.
Students who apply for the scholarship extension should submit the above application documents before April 30, 2021. Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.
