General visiting student: applicable to current undergraduates or master students.
Senior visiting student: applicable to current Ph.D students or faculties.
1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health, both mentally and physically.
2. Be under 45 years of age when applying for general visiting students. Be under 50 years of age when applying for senior visiting students.
3. Be registered as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner universities at the time of application and throughout their proposed stay in China. For a list of CSC’s foreign partner universities, please scan the QR code below.
Exempt from tuition fee.
Provide comprehensive medical insurance.
Provide accommodation on campus: economic double room (public restroom).
Stipend: General Visiting Student 3000RMB/month, Senior Visiting Student 3500 RMB/month.
Within the scholarship duration, registered scholarship students will receive a stipend from their host university each month. Students registering on or before the 15th of the month will receive a full stipend of that month. Those who register after the 15th of the month will receive a half stipend of that month. Graduating students will receive stipend until half month after the graduation date. If registered student stays out of China for more than 15 days due to a personal reason (school holidays excluded), his stipend will be stopped during his leaving.

1. Submit ECNU online application and pay application fee
Applicant should register and apply online through http://lxsapply.ecnu.edu.cn/, and click "Online Application" to submit your application and documents that are required. Application fee of 800 RMB (which won't be refunded) should be paid online as well.

2. Submit CSC online application
Applicant should register and apply online through https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login (the institutional code of ECNU is 10269, and the scholarship type choose Type B ). Submit online application and download the application form.
Note
1) Application documents sent by email or fax are not accepted.
2) Application with missing documents or failing to pay the application fee are not accepted.
3) Application documents and application fee will not be returned whether the applicants are admitted by ECNU or not.
4) Applicants DO NOT need to send the hard copy of the application documents by post.
ECNU has the right to require applicants to provide original application materials or authentication documents issued by a designated institution for further inspection.
Check your email or login on your ECNU online application account to track your application status.
* Make sure your email address is correct and check your email occasionally, you will receive some IMPORTANT INFORMATION, eg. the arrangement of interview etc.
The final result of your application will be announced both in your application account and on the noticeboard of Global Education Center website (http://lxs.ecnu.edu.cn/). Admitted students must register on time.
1. Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be processed.
2. Applicants will be disqualified from application in case of fraudulent application materials or application materials are completed and submitted by someone else.
3. Scholarship winners who cannot register with the host institutions on time should inform the host institution about the reasons in written form within 15 days before the admission date. For those who do not register as requested without reason, the scholarship will be canceled.
4. Scholarship will be canceled for those who do not pass the admission physical examination, drop out, or take schooling suspension during the study.
