Studying abroad was not just a dream for me but also a goal that I have worked tirelessly to achieve. However, Imagining pursuing my master's degree in Shanghai was already a dream come true for me. Shanghai is a vibrant full-of-energy city. Its streets are always bustling with people and unique magic that I feel in the air surrounding me, creating unforgettable memories etched in my heart and making anyone feel like they are in a completely different world. After a few weeks of arriving in Shanghai and settling into my new routine of attending classes and exploring the city, I was amazed by the quality of education I was receiving and the wealth of knowledge that my professors brought to the table at one of the best universities in China and the world East China Normal University.
As I approached the end of the first semester of my master's degree, I became more excited to explore this magnificent city even more. Exploring Shanghai's incredible architecture was what I was excited about the most. What surprised me was that no matter where I went in this metropolis, I would always stumble upon hidden gems. The moment I started exploring the city, I realized the incredible history and bright future of Shanghai. Chinese dragon New Year in Shanghai was truly a memorable experience. The city was filled with vibrant decorations and magical lights all over the city with extraordinary fireworks shows. It was also fascinating to see how the people celebrated the holiday by gathering with family and friends. With this joyful atmosphere, my university organized events to celebrate the Chinese New Year together as a family, with those warm vibes that made me feel at home. Overall, it was an incredible experience that gave me a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture and traditions.
Last but not least, I wouldn’t have had the chance to experience all this magic without the MOFCOM Scholarship and my university East China Normal University I am truly humbled and honored to be the recipient of this scholarship at this university. Looking forward to more priceless experiences and unforgettable memories in China.
