Chinese is Fun Series Events

In this new semester, in order to allow international students to learn Chinese in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, the Academic Department of ECNU International Students Union (ISU) will conduct a series of activities to facilitate learning Chinese happily together!

Event Intro (1st Session)

“显眼包”、“哈基米”、“夺笋”、“芭比Q了”、“yyds”……We believe that all Internet surfers can always see these words on major platforms. However, these Internet buzzwords are totally different from the Chinese words we usually learn. They usually have their own special meaning. For international students from various countries, learning Chinese is already very challenging, and these ever-changing Internet buzzwords are even more confusing. For this reason, the ISU Academic Department decided to organize an event to let International students learn common Internet slang, buzzwords and current affairs memes as the beginning of this series event, so as to become more integrated into China's Internet society.
