On May 20th, the Life Development Department of the International Students Union (ISU) will take you to the Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden. Let’s relax our mind with ISU after busy academic work!

Garden Introduction

The Chenshan Botanical Garden is located in the beautiful Sheshan National Tourist Resort in Songjiang District, Shanghai.The park covers an area of 207 hectares and is divided into four main functional areas: the central display area, the plant conservation area, the five-continent plant area, and the peripheral buffer area.

The central display area features over 20 specialized gardens, including the East China plant area, the quarry garden, the rock and medicinal plant garden, and the aquatic plant garden. Visitors also have the opportunity to vist China’s largest exhibition greenhouse!

* Picnic Preparation:

We will divide into 5 groups and provide a picnic mat for each group. All the activities on that day will be arranged by group. Please prepare lunch by yourself. You can bring lunch, snacks and fruits to share with your group members. We WILL NOT provide lunch.
