The full name of World Book Day is "World Book and Copyright Day.", also known as "Reading Day", whose purpose is to encourage more people to read and write, and to protect intellectual property rights. World Book Day is on the 23rd of April. To promote the value of reading among college students, and to encourage more people to stroll through the library and explore the ocean of books, with the theme of "2023 World Book Day - I have good book recommendations", ISU will show you the charm of reading!

ACTIVITY INTRODUCTION

On the basis of the belief of "read cultivate and educate" tenets, we hope to exchange knowledge when reading, so that "sleeping" books are no longer shelved; and simultaneously, combined with reading activities, we hope to cultivate students' mind and cultivate the atmosphere to read.

ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS

1. International students from different countries will each recommend a well-known piece of literature from their own country. If you enjoy reading literary works from various countries, hasten and share with others so you can get more book recommendations!

2. If you have a longtime favorite book collection, you are invited to bring it to the event. We will conduct a lottery where you will receive a gift for exchanging books and you might also make a new friend!

3. How can we interpret literary works from many nations and cultures more effectively? Professor Lin will provide you with the solutions for your queries!
