Event Information

#1st Session Japanese & Korean Session

Time: October 14th (Fri.) 3-5pm

MENU

#01Gimbap(김밥): It is a very common Korean dish. After the Joseon Dynasty, more and more food was prepared using seaweed, and as the food culture related to seaweed developed, "seaweed roll" was introduced in modern times. It is commonly made by wrapping cooked rice with vegetables and meat in nori.

#02 Hagi(おはぎ): Hagi, the Japanese pronunciation is "ohagiri", which means a glutinous rice dumpling covered with red bean paste on the outside. In traditional Japanese culture, the ritual of sprinkling the ghosts with red beans is used. This is said to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck in the coming year.
