Dear international students, Have you been in China for a long time but still don't know much about Shanghai's culture and history? Are you eager to unlock the secrets of this city but don't know where to start? The Wait is Over ! The Academic Department of ECNU International Students Union and CaoYing Reading Club bring you a series of experiences full of knowledge and fun. Through this "Wandering in the depths of Culture: A Roaming of Wu Kang Road", you will learn more about what Shanghai is known for "A Magical City where all Rivers join the Sea".

Introduction of the scenic spots

Wu Kang Building：The Wukang Building, as the landmark building of Wu Kang Road, is a typical French Renaissance architectural style building. It is an early work of the famous architect Hudak, and famous film artists Zheng Junli, Zhao Dan, Qin Yi, Sun Daolin, and others once lived here.

Shanghai Library：Shanghai Library, located in Huaihai Middle Road, Xuhui District, is a comprehensive research-oriented public library and industrial information centre in Shanghai. Shanghai Library is also a sub-centre of the National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project and the public cultural research base of the Ministry of Culture. It is one of the first national key ancient books protection units.

Caoying Salon：Caoying Salon, located in Building 3, No.178, South Urumqi Road is to commemorate Cao Ying, a great translator of Russian literature who has worked tirelessly all his life, shows the space for translators where he worked hard, creates a salon for exchange of ideas and a base for academic research and discussion, and presents the painstaking creation of a generation of translated literature.
