On October 22, the International Students Office is going to organize our 7th International Students Sports Meeting of ECNU. It would be so great to have some exercises and get you sweat in the cool autumn afternoon, isn't it? And we have a lot of prizes waiting for you, too. So come on and join us to have a fun!
Time: Afternoon 1 pm, Oct. 22
Place: Gongqing playground Zhongbei Campus
How to join: The sport items are all group games, so you and your friends need to make up a team and choose your team leader. Then you can come to International Students Office and fill in the registration form (Room 257, Physics Building, Zhongbei Campus or Room 101, No.14 International Students Dorm, Minhang Campus). Language Students can also get your form at your class, and return it to your teacher. You need to fill in one form for each item you want to join.

Schedule of the event:
13:00-13:30  Athletes parade
13:30-14:30  The Tug of War
14:30-15:30  Group Rope skipping
15:30-16:30  Five dragons crossing the river
16:30-17:00  Mixed 4 × 100m shuttle relay race
 
Introduction of the Sports Items
一．拔河（Tug of Sar）
Rules:
(1) It is a group game. Each team comprises 15 people (at least 5 females) of either the same nationality or from the same class. Teams made up of mixed nationalities and/or classes are also welcome.
(2) Teams stand 1.5m away the central red line and should not start pulling until hearing the whistle.
(3) Single round robin. Top three teams will be awarded prize.
二．跳长绳（Group Rope Skipping）
Rules:
(1) It is a group game. Each team is made up of 12 people (10 for rope skipping and 2 for rope swinging) either from the same class or of the same nationality. Mixed teams are also welcome.
(2) Game begins after the whistle sound. The players should jump one by one. Number of each team’s skipping will be counted and teams with the most skipping in 3 minutes will be the winners. Top three teams will be awarded prize.
三．五龙过江（Five Dragons Crossing the River）
Rules:
(1) Each team includes 5 people regardless of gender.
(2) Five players line up at the starting line, shoulder to shoulder, with pieces of clothes binding the legs adjacent to each other. The feet of all team members must be on ground. Those who reach the finishing line (50m away from the starting line) first will be the winners. Top three teams will be awarded prize.
四．男女混合4×100m迎面接力（Mixed 4 × 100m Shuttle Relay Race）
Rules:
(1) Each team is composed of 4 people (2 males and 2 females).
(2) Jumping the gun is a foul. A second such offense will get your team expelled from the race.
(3) Top three teams will be awarded prize.

Please Note：
1. The itinerary is subject to change.
2. Each team can has 1 or 2 substitutes. Teachers are welcome to take part in the games.
3. Please sign up before 17:00 on Fiday, Oct. 16 2015.
4. Submit your completed registration form to either Room 257, Physics Building or Room 116, College of Chinese Teaching, Zhongbei Campus, or Room 101, No.14 International Students Dorm, Minhang Campus.
5. No application is accepted on the competition day.
