1, All International students’ payment will be quoted in Chinese currency (RMB).
2, The degree students (including undergraduates, master’s students and doctoral students) have to pay up the tuition for one year at a time in the beginning of Sept. Students can pay the tuition by semester from the second academic year.
3, Non-degree students（including language students, general visiting students, senior visiting students and visiting scholars）can pay the tuition for one semester or one year.
4, Accomodation fee for long-term students is charged by semester, while for shorterm students is charged in accordance with the program period. Students are supposed to pay all accomodation fee in one go before checking in the dorm.
5, Payment Methods：Alipay, wechat pay, China Union Pay Card and cash are acceptable on site. Or make payment online : pay.ecnu.edu.cn via Alipay, Wechat pay, ICBC bank card, Master or Visa card. Students can register at the School and apply for the student visa after payment.
6, Payment on site: Physics Building Room 257, Putuo campus, or Room 101 of Dorm 12, Minhang Campus.
7, If you have to delay the payment, please submit an application for the delay of payment to the international students office, and pay 5% overdue fine of the tuition fee of one semester. The study qualification will be canceled for those who don’t pay the tuition within the first month of the semester.
1, The application fee will not be returned no matter you are accepted or not.
2, If you give up the admission before the registration day（with reasonable cause and certification），you will get full refund；If you discontinue your study within the first two weeks from registration day, you will get 70% refund of tuition; you can’t get any refund if you want to discontinue your study after 2 weeks from registration day.
3, Students who give up their accommodation reservation and submit the relevant refund application materials before the scheduled check-in date may receive a full refund of the accommodation fee. If a student gives up the accommodation within one week since the scheduled check-in date and submits the relevant refund application materials, the cost for the days actually stayed will be calculated as the short-term room rate, and the remaining accommodation fee will be refunded. For applications made after one week from the scheduled check-in date, the accommodation fee will not be refunded.
The scheduled check-in date is uniformly calculated based on the agreed check-in date at the time of reservation, and it will not change due to delaying of check-in for any personal reasons of the student.
4, If you want to discontinue your study and get refund, you need to submit a refund application form and the original receipt of payment.
5, Refund will be quoted in Chinese currency.
6, The students who are expelled from school due to violation of school regulations will not get the refund of tuition and accomodation fee.
7, The terms and conditions above are applicable to all the international students of ECNU. All rights are reserved by International Students Office of ECNU.
