On the afternoon of March 27, 2024, the Global Education Center of East China Normal University launched the first phase of the VOICE Bilingual Corner for Chinese and Foreign Students at the International Student Exchange Center on the fourth floor of the Physics Building. Thirty Chinese and foreign students came to the scene and shared their stories around the theme of "Studying at East China Normal University: Studying".

After the two hosts shared their connection with East China Normal University, each student told their story of how they came to the Liwa River: some people are nostalgic for Shanghai's tolerance and innovation, some people like the strong international atmosphere of ECNU, and some people have the ideal of teaching and educating people...

In the group discussion session, students shared their feelings about studying at ECNU. A Russian student shared the most difficult thing for him: "After I actually came to China, I realized that I didn't learn enough Chinese. A Thai student said, "When I come to China alone, I sometimes feel homesick. But ECNU has prepared many interesting activities for us foreign students that make me feel at home. "Students have transformed themselves through the ups and downs of experience, and have grown in the colorful campus life.

Coming to ECNU is the first step to the future, and it will also be the starting point for excellence. The last part was to share students’ plans and prospects for the future, and a Russian student majoring in TCSOL said: "I may return to Russia and teach Chinese there." A Chinese student majoring in computer science said, "I hope I can work in a state-owned enterprise." A language student from Thailand said, "When the language study is over, I want to study for a master's degree in China." "The students portrayed excellence as the background color of youth, and set out for the future with confidence.

Through this activity, the students broadened their horizons, expanded their circle of friends, had a deeper understanding of each other's cultures, and jointly painted a beautiful picture of cultural exchange.
