The 1st Chinese Drama Contest organized by Global Education Center kicked off on June,19th. Nearly 100 students from 9 classes of Intensive & Business Chinese Programs were ready to give the performance. Both the teachers and students put great efforts into this show. Altogether 9 dramas involve diverse topics such as “matchmaking & dating”, “Ancient stories”, ”internationals students’ confusion about Chinese culture” , etc and are performed in different creative forms. The students worked on original scripts, props and costume for a month and finally got onto the stage to exhibit their brilliant talents and large progress in Chinese studies. Their passion, acting skills and funny lines deeply impress the audience. Of all the performances, “Renting Girlfriend” performed by Intensive Elementary Class 1-2 took the first prize with their fluent Chinese and vivid acting.
This year’s Drama Contest has achieved a big success and the students have won much happiness and good memories through the process, which have made their life in ECNU even more unforgettable. Note: Please enjoy the following pictures of the exciting moment!
