The closing ceremony of ECNU Intensive and Business Program held last Friday, Jun. 22nd. Wang Gang, Deputy Director of Global Education Center, and Jessie Zhang Lu, Director Assistant of Global Education Center attended the ceremony.

        Mr. Wang Gang hoped that students would keep enthusiasm for learning Chinese language and culture in the future. After video review, award sections and performances, the ceremony came to the high points.

        This semester, a total of 19 students received honor certificates. Sarah, from Class 3-1 of Intensive Program, shared her feelings and gains in learning at ECNU. She also thanked the school and teachers for their help.

        ECNU Talk, as the most distinctive event in this semester, inspired the participants’ curiosity about discovering flash points in daily life, and also gave them a practical environment of Chinese language learning. These “ECNU journalists” received their own honors at this ceremony. Tyler, one of these journalists shared his ECNU Talk story that called on everyone never stop exploring life.

        Three teachers, Ms. Xu Dianshan, Ms. Yang Zhe and Ms. Xiang Xiaolu were awarded the honor of “Star of Teachers”. Afterwards, Ms. Li Wen gave a speech on behalf of all teachers. The touching words showed love for the students and ECNU.

        The performances, interspersed in the graduation ceremony, lit up the enthusiasm of the audience. The students and teachers enjoyed a lot.

        The closing ceremony was successfully held as a good ending of the 2018 spring semester. In the future, let us keep learning Chinese and keep learning in life. Congratulations to all the students for your happy graduation. Wish all of you a bright future!
