The opening ceremony of Intensive, Business Chinese Program and Chinese-English Bilingual Program was held in the lecture hall of Physics Building on the first day of school, Sep.9th. More than 250 international students from around 30 countries attended the ceremony.

Mr. Wang Gang, vice-director of Global Education Center addressed the ceremony. Prattapong Kanyawan from Thailand, intensive program student who started her study since last semester shared her  ECNU stories that lit the flame of hope for the freshmen’s futures. 

Orientations provided students with many wonderful lectures, including Shanghai Introduction, Campus Life, Chinese Language Programs Introduction, Student Associations and Insurance Introduction, Law and Safety Information and Cross-cultural Communication and so on. These lectures let students know more about Shanghai, ECNU and the future campus life, so that students are full of expectations for  the life of Chinese learning!

The ice-breaking games in the afternoon were very interesting and helpful. It made everybody happy and excited. It was really a good opportunity for international students to make new friends and build friendships through teamwork!
