On September 20th, at the invitation of the Shanghai European and American Alumni Association and under the organization of the ISU Academic Department, ECNU international students went to Fengjing ancient town for a Chinese folk experience activity.
# Visit Fengjing Ancient Town
Fengjing Ancient Town is a renowned Jiangnan water town known for its traditional architecture and scenic waterways. Accompanied by a light rain, the students experienced the charm of ancient life in Jiangnan.
#Farmer Painting Experience
After the visit, the students participated in a farmer painting workshop, where they gained a deeper understanding of this unique folk art. Guided by a professional instructor, they learned about the history of farmer painting and its role in promoting Chinese culture, while also creating their own artworks. This experience allowed them to appreciate the charm of rural Chinese culture and enhanced their understanding of traditional art.
