1. Scholarship for ECNU Excellent International Degree Students
1) Purpose:
This scholarship is to encourage our self-financed international students who are hard-working and won good marks academically.
2) Eligibility:
A) Registered in ECNU as degree students (undergraduate, post-graduate, PhD) for at least one year and have not applied for suspension, retention or extension in the last two semesters (self-financed students only). Those who stayed out of China in the last two semesters or this year are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
B) Complied with regulations and rules of Chinese government and ECNU.
C) Students who fail in any compulsory courses in the last academic year are not eligible to participate in the scholarship selection.
D) Already published productive essays, attended core international conferences and gave presentations. Showed excellent research and academic ability.
E) Active and outstanding in the activities and voluntary service held by the university and faculties, proved by certificates or other written documents.
3) Rewarding amount:
Undergraduate: 15,000RMB
Post-graduate & PhD: 20,000RMB

2. Scholarship for ECNU Excellent International Students Academic/Activity Award
1） Purpose:
This scholarship is to encourage our international students who show excellent work in academic, sports, arts, cultural exchange and public service events.
2） Eligibility:
A) Registered in ECNU as undergraduate, post-graduate, PhD or visiting students. Those who stayed out of China in the last two semesters or this year are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
B) Complied with regulations and rules of Chinese government and ECNU.
C) Meet at least one of the following conditions in the last two semesters.
i. Already published papers in core international or China academic journals as the first or second editor.
ii. Attended core international or China conferences, and gave presentations or read essays.
iii. Actively organized and participated in activities related to arts, sports, and cultural exchange, and won great honors for ECNU.
iv. Actively participated in public service activities and voluntary service, proved by certificates or other written documents.
3） Rewarding Amount:
Outstanding Contribution Award: 5000RMB/person
Individual Academic/Activity Award: 3000RMB/person

5) Other relevant materials that can certify your outstanding performance or special contributions.
Notes: Applicants can apply for all scholarships but will only be awarded one of them.
Nov.25: Applicants submit all the required documents to the faculty/departments.
Dec 2-6: Preliminary evaluation
Dec 9-13: Scholarship interview evaluation
Dec 14-21: Make result public on campus
End of Dec: Award ceremony
